Open at Waialae on Oahu taking place in January, we get golf fever in
the islands and it lasts all year. Listed below are some of our best courses
and best golf values in the islands year-round.
Oahu
Waikele Golf Club is one of our newer Oahu courses located only about
35-40 minutes from Waikiki. Scorecards and course maps are available
on-line.
Ko Olina
Golf Club - Located on the dry west side of Oahu. This course offers
beautiful oceanfront views and fast greens plus extensive amenities such as
a driving range and restaurant. Highly Recommended.
Hawaii Country
Club is one of the oldest public courses in the islands and greens fees
start at only $49 during the week. It's located about on
an hour from Waikiki in central Oahu.
Maui
Makena Golf Courses
- 36 holes of spectacular golf designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. Located
beachfront within the Wailea resort area with consistently 'dry' conditions.

Wailea Golf and
Tennis - Home of the Senior Skins Game, beautiful resorts and beaches
plus three Championship Courses! Greens fees are reasonable by Hawaii
standards.
Kaanapali Golf
Courses - Located in the center of the Kaanapali resort area and home of
the Senior PGA Tour 'EMC Classic'. The history of the course plus maps and
scorecards are available on-line.
Golf Maui
Hawaii Style - A nice overview of all Maui golf courses and their greens
fees.
The Big Island
Mauna Kea
Resort (Lava Golf) - Because many Big Island resorts are built over lava flows on the
Kohala coast, golf courses take unique turns and "shots in the rough" are
unforgiving. But a true golfer can't pass up the opportunity to play one of
Hawaii's most scenic and challenging courses.
Kona and Waimea Country
Clubs - Two reasonably priced golf courses with unique locations. Kona
CC is south of the town of Kona and offers scenic
golf in a historic location. Waimea CC is upcountry with cooler temperatures
plus 'Volcanic' views. Both offer maps and scorecards of the courses.
Kauai
Princeville - 45 holes of Robert Trent Jones Jr. golf
located within one of the most scenic tropical areas of the Hawaiian
Islands. Golf heaven is found on the north shore of Kauai! Highly
Recommended.
Poipu Bay Golf Course - Home of the PGA Grand Slam of Golf, this
18 hole oceanfront course is adjacent to the Hyatt Regency and dramatic sea
cliffs. A course map is on-line.
Wailua Municipal
Golf Course is centrally located between Kapaa and Lihue
plus has greens fees starting at only $25 during the week. Best Value!
Lanai
The
Experience at Koele is a Greg Norman designed course with beautifully
manicured mountain greens and fairways. The
Challenge at Menele is Jack Nicklaus designed, runs along oceanfront
cliffs, and has a course rating of 68.8 from the reds.
